Pori Upma

Puffed rice is called Pori in Tamil. It’s a very healthy and a popular snack. Pori mixed with roasted peanuts is one of my family’s most favourite snack. There are very popular fast food and snacks which uses Pori as its basic ingredient.

Many years back, when we were living in Muscat, I learnt this Pori Upma from one of good friend Anu Joe:) She was from Hyderabad and she told me that this was a very popular breakfast dish there.

It’s very easy to make, very healthy, rich in protein , very tasty and perfect for breakfast indeed:)
