There are times when you feel lazy to cook, but still have to do something. I have some quick fix, interesting healthy and wholesome recipes saved for such times. Sharing one of them with you all today:)
Ingredients
Multigrain Bread slices- 12
Onions-2
Capsicum- 1
Tomatoes- 2 small
Grated carrots- 1/2 cup
Boiled corn- 1/4th cup
Green chillies- 2
Curry leaves- few
Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp
Turmeric pd- 1/2 tsp
Dhania powder- 1 tsp
Jeera powder- 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Amchur pd- 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil- 4 tsps
Mustard- 1 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Chana dal- 1 tsp
Method
Cut onion, capsicum and tomatoes into cubes.Slit green chillies.
Cut bread slices into cubes.
Heat oil in a kadai.
Add mustard seeds. When it starts spluttering, add urad and chana dal, curry leaves and green chillies.
Cook for few seconds. Add onions. Cook till it becomes pink. Add capsicum and cook for 2 mins. Add tomatoes, carrot and corn, mix well and cook for 2 mins. Add all the masala powder and salt to taste. Mix well and cook till tomatoes become soft.
Now add the bread cubes, mix well and cook for 5 mins on a low flame.
Transfer to a serving dish.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
