Thenga Manga Pattani Sundal

Today is the fourth day of Navrathri.

Divine mother is worshipped as Kushmanda today. Kushmanda means pumpkin. The significance of this form is that the whole creation is like a pumpkin. Like a pumpkin which has many seeds and each seed contain the potential to form a new pumpkin, the Divine mother contains the entire creations within her.

I made Thenga Manga Pattani Sundal ( coconut, mango and green peas sundal) as prasadam today:)
